My landing gear will be a
tri-gear setup. The main aluminum landing gear was made by Grove
Aircraft. It is 7/8" thick, 4.5" wide and tall enough to
let me spin a 60" propeller and still have 9" of ground clearance.
The nose gear will be incorporated into the motor mount design. A castering
nose wheel and differential braking will handle the ground steering chores.
Brake lines have been gun drilled in the gear legs.

The wheel pants are model
MF-3 from Aircraft Spruce.
All the wheels are Azusa 5 x 5.00 aluminum. The tires are Cheng Shin 11.4
x 5". The brakes are C-90s from Tracy
O'Brien. I am using his 4130 axles too.

4130 steel brackets will mount
the gear aft of the main spar to have the wheel center line 4" behind
the spar. Using the one piece gear keeps the mounts out of the stub wings
so there is more room for the fuel tanks.
