Here are the end support brackets
for the vertical trusses under the seat (ala Mark
Langford). They are epoxied and clamped
|

The clamps were removed from
the support brackets after they cured. You can see the seat trusses behind
the aft center spar. They are made up from 1/2" urethane foam glassed
with two layers of 7.5 oz fiberglass.

Here is that photo I promised,
a photo of the trusses in place. I found it while searching for all the
PIX I took. . It looks as though the seat bottoms still have to go down
another 1.5 inches to give me some head room.
