8-32 nutplates were riveted to the backing plate and stainless steel screws hold the wheel pant to the backing plate. An AN-3 bolt will hold the outside to a plug drilled and tapped in the end of the axle. |

I made the screws evenly spaced. The only problem is the two top center screws you can't get to because of the gear leg. Time to do some "figurin". |
