This is the fiberglass I am using 7.5oz 16 x 16 plain weave 44" wide. It is a close match for KR cloth a little heavier and a little coarser weave and the price was right. If you could use some of this fiberglass I still have a full roll of 250 yards plus the left over from my first roll. Price $2 a yard plus actual shipping. The extended angle from my instrument panel to the firewall will just cover the top of the starter but I think I will still need to put a small bump in the cowling. |
