This is the remote adapter block that was made for the remote oil filter and cooler.

The Tru Cool oil cooler and finned filter cover are from JC Whitney and remote oil filter from Claudes Buggies ( CB Performance).

AN-8 SS braided lines and fittings will be used throughout the install.

This is an Alternator bracket cover/oil filler and crankcase breather for a VW. Mounted in this position the two bolt holes line up with the top cover bolts. Drill the big hole in the middle and two more taped holes for the other two bolts. Get a VW Gasket set $7-10 and you can use the tin louvered plate and the two gaskets for a perfect fit. The dipstick will need to be cut down. I also put a safety chain on the oil cap to one of the inside bolts.

This arrangement allows you to have one oil access door to check and add oil without removing the cowling. I have one of the filler extender tube Pat Panzera is using on my VW engine. Be careful tightening the plastic cap down, on mine the top cracked almost off and I had to replace it.
