Take a 3/4" dowel or piece of pipe and put it through the center holes. Line up the slot on the point plate with the vacuum advance slot on the sub plate. Take special notice of the position of the holes in this picture. If you mount the plate upside down, the slots in the shutter wheel will be 30 degrees off and not match with the rotor and cap to fire the plug.

Mark the three outer holes and the two near the slot. Drill the three mount holes with a 3/16" drill bit. Drill the other two so that a wire Ty-wrap can fit through them.

From both kits select the two smaller upright brackets. The ones on the lower right in the picture.
