The firewall dimensions were drawn on the 3/4" plywood jig to start the motor mount / nosegear mount. The 1/8" 4130 has been drilled and mounted to the plywood. A piece of fiberfrax scrap and a heavy piece of steel was sandwiched in between to protect the plywood from burning. I hope, or, it will be a test of fiberfrax's ability to protect the wood underneath. |
