Here
is the tool I used to start forming the 1/4" lip in the stainless.
They are called seaming pliers used in making the HVAC ductwork. I clamped
the stainless to the firewall, then marked it with a magic marker on the
backside. I use a strait pair of aviation shears to cut the stainless.
This stuff does not want to cut easily, even though it is only .016"
thick. The SS sheet was reclamped and the screw holes marked and center
punched.

After
the screws were in placed I finished with a body work hammer and dolly.
To finish the forming. Some of the lips were longer that the 1/4"
I wanted so I have to borrow a sheet metal nipper to clean up those edges.
I even started mounting the
ignition components, gascolater, and fuel pump.

Now
I can get back onto the motor mount and nosegear.
